Gravel grids are commonly used when installing new gravel grid driveway or pathways. Gravel has a tendency to spread to surrounding areas when in an area of high use, which will lead to an uneven surface, puddles forming and more. A gravel retention grid provides the opportunity to create an even surface with gravel, but without the worry of it spreading, because it is contained within the cellular structure, or creating areas of wear and tear. When installed with a surface membrane, weed growth will be prevented whilst still allowing efficient drainage. So choosing gravel driveway grids offers that key drainage as well as helping maintain that top quality appearence.
Grass and gravel mesh can also be used to increase the stability of an area. When grass or gravel mats are installed, they create a large area of interlocking grids that distributes loads across it easily, meaning that at any given point the weight on a single point is much lower than if there were no interlocking grids across the surface. This will increase stability, reduce damage done by vehicles and improve drainage.
