Silicone sealants
General purpose silicone sealants are designed to adhere to most smooth and non-porous materials., to form a permanently flexible rubber seal to prevent water ingress. They also contain an anti-fungal compound which will help to prevent mould growth in areas of high humidity, such as bathrooms.
Premium sealant
Puraflex sealant by Everbuild is a sealant of premium quality, designed to provide exceptional resistance to mechanical wear, making it incredibly popular in engineering, caravan and marine industries, and also for sealing floor joints in ceramic installations that experience high levels of traffic.
Weatherproof sealants
Roof and gutter sealant from Everbuild and BondIt has been created to provide waterproof sealants to external projects. The development of roof and gutter sealants has focussed on instant sealing, as well as ensuring the sealant is long lasting and weatherproof. Everbuild also have Weathermate, which is a multi=use sealant that can be applied in wet weather, to wet surfaces and even underwater.
Block and paving sealant
Block and paving sealer from Cromar is a water based sealer provided in 5kg and 25kg containers,. It can be applied to block paving and porous masonry to reduce staining, reduce the loss of jointing sand, and improve its aesthetics.
