Perfect for stabilising gravel for shed bases, garden paths and other areas requiring pedestrian access, the polypropylene ACO GravelGuard tile with its 47mm diameter honeycomb modules and stabilisation fabric is designed for use with gravel between 3mm and 16mm in diameter. Available in a white or grey option, the GravelGuard Grey Eco tile is made entirely from 100% recycled polypropylene.
The tile features an incorporated geotextile layer that is firmly bonded to the tile's honeycomb modules, which helps to prevent weeds from growing and spoiling the look of your gravelled area.
When installed correctly, the GravelGuard can withstand loads of around 300 tonnes per/m², which is more than enough for the types of domestic tasks it is designed for.
The large tile size is 1176mm x 1535 mm, which means one tile is 1.8 m². 10 m² can therefore be covered with 5.6 tiles, or for larger projects, a pallet of 17 tiles will cover 30.68 m². The tiles can be easily cut to your required shape, as can the fabric-like geotextile.
