With a mild steel structure galvanised for increased strength and durability, this Single Recessed Manhole Cover from Wrekin has a 100mm tray depth to accept block paving of 80mm. It is for heavy-duty areas with a Gross Laden Vehicle Weight (GLVW) of 44 tonnes and a small moving wheel load for pneumatic tyres of up to 11 tonnes.
Suitable for where a steel manhole cover disrupts or obstructs the continuity of flooring in commercial areas, service areas and industrial areas, this manhole cover permits a better design for outdoor areas, as well as a better continuation of the pattern or finish. It accepts bedding mortar much more reliably than plastic alternatives, enhancing stability.
For an improved lifespan of the recessed block paving manhole cover, lifting keyways are reinforced as standard to prevent distortion inflicted by lifting.
