Wrekin’s pressed steel access cover is manufactured with no sharp edges and sits inside a steel frame. Compatible for applications where gross laden vehicle weight will not exceed 17.5 tonnes, this steel access manhole cover is for light industrial areas where trolleys and light pallet trucks operate. Described as light/medium duty, this steel access cover can withstand slow moving pneumatic tyres up to 4.25 tonnes in vehicle weight and slow moving solid tyres up to 0.5 tonnes in vehicle weight.
A reliable surface seal will minimise water ingress and reduce any odours escaping from the steel manhole cover. A specially designed labyrinth surface pattern will reduce water pooling too, increasing safety and reducing the risk of pedestrians slipping.
Galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461, this Wrekin steel access manhole cover and frame is FACTA class AAA.
