The Silt Sentinel 500 Advanced Series is a one-piece silt trap for 110mm Pipework with Filter Bucket and Lockable Circular Access Cover. It has been designed for the catchment and removal of silt, debris and litter, before it enters a surface water storage system.
The 500 Advanced model features a two-part filtering process, with a primary filter basket on the inlet and a secondary polishing filter on the outlet. Both filters are easily removed for cleaning and general maintenance.
The 500 Advanced model, by Turtle Enviro, is primarily designed for installation upstream of small to medium sized modular/crate type attenuation systems, ponds and swales. As well as this, all 500 models are supplied with a coupling at the top of the main body which allows for an increase in invert by adding further extension risers.
This ready to install unit can be lifted and installed by a single person, meaning a reduction in both installation and costs. With a robust twin wall body, the Silt Sentinel 500 features a primary filter basket on inlet, which can be easily removed for maintenance.
The circular access cover can withstand loads up to 35Kn, making it suitable for driveways and areas with pedestrian traffic.
