The 12mm shiplap cladding further protects your shed by helping to weatherproof the shed from wind and rain. Its roof and floor use tongue and grooved timber boards made from high-grade FSC certified pine, and for extra support, the floor also features close-spaced bearers.

The internal working height is 6ft at the eaves and 10ft from the apex to the floor, meaning you can stand and move around your workspace in comfort and safety. The double doors are fully framed and braced and come fitted with a secure full-length continuous hinge, also known as a piano hinge, and a lock and key are also provided to ensure your property is kept safe and secure at all times. The four top hung opening windows are fitted with 3mm thick storm-resistant glass and will fit either side of your shed, allowing you to ventilate your workspace with fresh air and introduce natural light.

The timber has been treated with a basecoat, making it ready for you to apply your finishing coat as soon as it has been installed.

• Imperial measurements are rounded, so please refer to the metric sizes for accuracy. Allowance should be made for the roof overhang and access around the outside during construction and subsequent treatment.
• You will be sent a link to choose your delivery day following your order, and you will also receive live tracking information on the morning of your delivery day.
• Before you assemble your building, you will need a base that is flat and level to a sufficient size. Grass, soil or gravel are not sufficient as they will move with the weight of a building.
• Base note:
• Please ensure that your base is flat, level and square whether this is a concrete or paving slab base or on bearers. This ensures the building is level and stable and prevents excess strain on the panels that could lead to twisting / long term damage. The building staying level also means the panels will fit squarely together, prevent gaps and ensuring doors close correctly.
• Timber note:
• A good quality timber garden building starts with good quality timber. The most commonly used timber for garden buildings is pine. Shire buildings are constructed using high quality spruce under strict FSC (Forestry Stewardship Council) guidance. Spruce is more durable than pine and provides a higher quality finish. The timber is slow grown which means a tighter grain, less sap and with far less knots and warping occurring. In some cases, slight splits or 'shakes' may be seen in the timber. These are normal and will not affect the performance of your Garden Building.
