Description

With four fixed windows down one side, this 5ft x 7ft Shire Overlap Apex Shed offers plenty of light for the interior of the building. The ample eaves height and double doors allow ease of access to the whole space.

The double doors in the 5ft gable are fitted with a hasp and staple catch, ready for you to add your own padlock for extra security. The non-opening windows include safety glazing and can be installed on either side of the shed. Both the roof and floor are manufactured from solid sheet OSB while the wall panels are made from high-grade, slow-grown, FSC Certified timber. The building is dip treated with a base coating, ready for you to apply a top layer after installation. With tough 34mm square framing, this Shire shed comes complete with installation instructions, a fixing kit and a roofing felt.

Please note:

  • The imperial measurements are rounded to the closest foot so please refer to the metric sizes for accuracy. Allowance should be made for the roof overhang and for access around the outside during assembly and subsequent treatment. Following your order, you will be sent a link to choose your delivery day and on the morning of, you will also receive live tracking information.
  • Base note:
  • Please ensure that your base is flat, level and square whether this is a concrete base, paving slab or on bearers. This ensures the building is stable and level and avoids excess strain on the panels that could lead to twisting/long-term damage. The building staying level also means the panels will fit neatly together, preventing gaps and ensuring the doors shut correctly.
  • Timber note:
  • A good quality timber garden building starts with quality timber. The most frequently used timber for garden buildings is pine. Shire buildings are manufactured using high-quality spruce under strict FSC (Forestry Stewardship Council) guidance. Spruce is more durable than pine and provides a higher-quality finish. The timber is slow grown which means a tighter grain, less sap and far less warping and knots occurring. In some cases, slight splits or 'shakes' may be seen in the timber. These are normal and will not impact the performance of your garden building.
  • Delivery is restricted to mainland England and Wales. If you are unsure whether your postcode is excluded, please call us to confirm.
