Description

With six fixed windows down one side, this 6ft x 10ft Shire Overlap Apex Shed offers an abundance of light to its interior. The ample eaves height and double doors ensure easy access to the whole space and are supported by sturdy 34mm square framing.

The wide double doors in the 6ft gable are fitted with a hasp and staple catch, ready for your own padlock while the non-opening windows feature safety glazing and can be installed on either side. Both the roof and floor are constructed from solid sheet OSB while the wall panels are manufactured from FSC Certified, slow-grown, high-grade timber. The building is dip treated with a base coat, ready for a top coating after assembly. With everything you need for a complete installation, this Shire shed comes with a fixing kit, instructions and roof felt.

Please note:

  • The imperial measurements are rounded to the nearest foot so please refer to the metric sizes for accuracy. Allowance should be made for access around the outside and for the roof overhang during assembly and subsequent treatment. Following your order, you will be sent a link to select your delivery day. On the morning of, you will also receive live tracking information.
  • Base note:
  • Please ensure that your base is flat, square and level whether this is on bearers, a paving slab or a concrete base. This ensures the building is level and stable and avoids excess strain on the panels that could lead to long-term damage/twisting. The building staying level also means the panels will fit neatly together, preventing gaps and ensuring the doors shut correctly.
  • Timber note:
  • A good quality timber garden building starts with quality timber. The most frequently used timber for garden buildings is pine. Shire buildings are made using high-quality spruce under strict FSC (Forestry Stewardship Council) guidance. Spruce is more durable than pine and provides a higher-quality finish. The timber is slow grown which means less sap, a tighter grain and far less warping and knots occurring. In some cases, 'shakes' or slight splits may appear in the timber. These are normal and will not impact the performance of your garden building.
  • Delivery is restricted to mainland England and Wales. If you are unsure whether your postcode is excluded, please call us to confirm.
