Description

This well-designed and compact 6ft x 4ft Shire Shiplap Pent Shed provides the perfect storage space for all your toys, tools, bikes and lawnmowers, making it a fantastic addition to your garden.

This Shire pent shed includes a joinery-quality opening window which is storm resistant and positioned to the front of the building, interchangeable from left or right with the door. Both the roof and floor are fabricated from solid sheet OSB. The wall panels are manufactured from 12mm shiplap FSC Certified timber and supplied in a honey brown timber base coating, ready for you to apply a topcoat. With sturdy 34mm square framing, this shed comes complete with everything you need for your installation including roofing felt, instructions and a fixing kit.

  • The imperial measurements are rounded so please refer to the metric sizes for accuracy. Allowance should be made for access around the outside and for the roof overhang during construction and subsequent treatment. Following your order, you will be sent a link to choose your delivery day. On the morning of, you will also receive live tracking information.
  • Base note:
  • Please ensure that your base is flat, level and square whether this is on bearers, a concrete base or a paving slab. This ensures the building is level and stable and deters excess strain on the panels that could lead to twisting/long-term damage. The building staying level also means the panels will fit neatly together, preventing gaps and ensuring the doors shut correctly.
  • Timber note:
  • A good quality timber garden building starts with quality timber. The most frequently used timber for garden buildings is pine. Shire buildings are assembled using high-quality spruce under strict Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) guidance. Spruce is more durable than pine and delivers a higher-quality finish. The timber is slow grown which means a tighter grain, less sap and far less knots and warping occurring. In some cases, slight splits or 'shakes' may be seen in the timber. These are normal and will not affect the performance of your garden building.
  • Delivery is restricted to mainland England and Wales. If you are unsure whether your postcode is excluded, please call us to confirm.
