Made with structural and aesthetic integrity, this Shire Shetland Pressure Treated Shiplap Apex Shed provides you with plenty of room for storage. You can use it for homing your gardening tools and items that have nowhere else to go, and it can also make a fantastic small potting shed. For ease of access, the single door is in the 4ft gable so that larger storage items, such as bicycles or lawnmowers, can fit inside without any hassle.

The door is secured by a hasp and staple that is compatible with your own padlock. With a fixed window that can be fitted on the side of your choice, the shed can benefit from some added light.

Pressure treated for long life without all the troubles of excessive maintenance, this Shire shed has wall panels made from 12mm shiplap FSC Certified timber. You can paint or stain your shed if you wish for some personalised decoration or to make it fit your garden aesthetic more seamlessly. The roof and floor are fabricated from solid sheet OSB, and all of the Shire sheds are made with sturdy 34mm square framing. They are also equipped with a fixing kit, roof felt and installation instructions.

Please note:

  • Refer to the metric sizes for accuracy as the imperial measurements are rounded. When the shed is being constructed or undergoing subsequent treatment, allowance should be made for the roof overhang and for access around the outside. Following your order, you will receive a link to choose your delivery day and on the morning of that delivery day, you will also get live tracking information.
  • Base note:
  • Your base needs to be flat, level and square, whether this is a concrete or paving slab base or on bearers. This guarantees the building is level and stable and avoids additional strain on the panels as that could lead to twisting and long-lasting damage. The building staying level also lets the panels fit squarely together, preventing gaps and ensuring doors close properly.
  • Timber note:
  • Quality timber is key to a quality timber garden building. The conventional choice of timber for garden buildings is pine. Shire buildings use high-quality spruce under strict FSC (Forestry Stewardship Council) guidance. Spruce has a higher durability and quality finish than pine. Slow grown, the timber has a tighter grain, less sap, and fewer knots and warping occurs. In some cases, slight splits or 'shakes' may be seen in the timber but these are not likely to affect performance.
  • Delivery is restricted to mainland England and Wales. If you are unsure whether your postcode is excluded, please call us to confirm.
