With a substantial eaves height, this 6ft x 8ft Shire Pressure Treated Overlap Apex Shed features double doors that enable easy access to the whole space. The wide double doors in the 6ft gable are equipped with a hasp and staple catch, ready for you to add your own padlock. It doesn't have any windows which makes it the ideal option when you want to keep your possessions out of sight.

Delivered complete with a fixing kit, installation instructions and roofing felt, this Shire shed includes robust 34mm square framing. The wall panels are constructed from FSC-Certified, high-grade, slow-grown timber. Both the roof and floor are fabricated from solid sheet OSB. The pressure-treated timber provides a long-lasting life with minimal maintenance requirements, however, it can still be stained or painted for decorative purposes if you wanted to add a splash of colour.

Please note:

  • The imperial measurements are approximate to the nearest foot so please refer to the metric sizes for accuracy. Allowance should be made for the roof overhang and for access around the outside during construction and subsequent treatment. Following your order, you will be sent a link to choose your delivery day. On the morning of, you will also receive live tracking information.
  • Base note:
  • Please ensure that your base is flat, level and square whether this is a paving slab, concrete base or on bearers. This ensures the building is level and stable and prevents excess strain on the panels that could lead to twisting/long-term damage. The building staying level also means the panels will fit neatly together, avoiding gaps and ensuring the doors shut properly.
  • Timber note:
  • A good quality timber garden building starts with quality timber. The most frequently used timber for garden buildings is pine. Shire buildings are constructed using high-quality spruce under strict FSC (Forestry Stewardship Council) guidance. Spruce is more durable than pine and provides a higher-quality finish. The timber is slow grown which means a tighter grain, less sap and far less warping and knots occurring. In some cases, slight splits or 'shakes' may be seen in the timber. These are normal and will not impact the performance of your garden building.
  • Delivery is restricted to mainland England and Wales. If you are unsure whether your postcode is excluded, please call us to confirm.
