Description

Measuring 7ft x 10ft, this Shire pressure-treated overlap apex shed features two safety-glazed opening windows for additional light and ventilation. These can be fitted on either side in a variety of positions. The eave's height is generous, with the shed also featuring double doors for quick and simple access to the interior. These double doors sit in the 7ft gable of this overlap shed, complete with hasp and stable catch to ensure your padlock can be fitted as soon as possible.

Each wall panel of this Shire overlap shed are manufactured using high-grade, slow-grown, FSC Certified timber. Pressure-treating the timber enables it to have a long life and requires minimal maintenance. Painting and staining for decoration are still possible, however, to ensure you have the shed looking exactly as you desire to meet your design themes for the outdoors. For roofing and flooring, these are manufactured using solid sheet OSB. As a Shire shed, the design also has a strong 34mm square framing and comes with a fixing kit, roof felt and installation instructions to make fitting the shed easier.

Please note:

  • The imperial measurements are rounded. Please refer to the metric sizes for accurate measurements. Make allowances for the roof overhang and the access around the outside during construction and subsequent treatment. Once your order has been placed, you will be sent a link to choose your delivery day. On the morning of delivery day, you will also receive live tracking information
  • Base note:
  • Please ensure that your base is flat, level and square. This is important regardless of using a concrete or paving slab base or on bearers. It ensures the building is level and stable to prevent excess strain on the panels. A lead cause of twisting and/or long-term damage. The building staying level also means the panels will fit squarely together, preventing gaps and ensuring doors close correctly.
  • Timber note:
  • For a good quality timber garden building, good quality timber is a must. The most commonly used timber for garden buildings is pine. Shire buildings are constructed using high-quality spruce under strict FSC (Forestry Stewardship Council) guidance. Spruce is more durable than pine and provides a higher-quality finish. The timber is slow grown which means a tighter grain, less sap and far fewer knots and warping occurring. In some cases, slight splits or 'shakes' may be seen in the timber. These are normal and will not affect the performance of your Garden Building.
  • Delivery is restricted to mainland England and Wales. If you are unsure whether your postcode is excluded, please call us to confirm.
