Description

For storage of belongings that you wish to keep private, this Shire Overlap Apex Shed is 4ft x 3ft and has no windows to increase security. The 6ft 4 height at the centre allows for effective storage of tools and equipment while the wide double doors in the 4ft gable make accessibility simple. The doors are also fitted with a hasp and staple catch that works perfectly with your own padlock.

Made from high-grade, slow grown, FSC Certified timber, the wall panels of this Shire overlap shed are sturdy. The building has been dip treated with a base coat, meaning it is completely ready for you to apply a topcoat following construction, and the floor and the roof have solid sheet OSB structures. All Shire sheds are crafted with strong 34mm square framing and they also are provided with roof felt, instructions for assembly and a fixing kit.

Please note:

  • It is advised to keep to the metric sizes for precision as the imperial measurements are rounded. When constructing or commencing subsequent treatment on the shed, allowance should be made for the roof overhang and for access around the outside. Once you have placed your order, you will receive a link to choose your delivery day and on the day, you will also get live tracking information in the morning.
  • Base note:
  • Your base needs to be flat, level and square, whether this is a concrete or paving slab base or on bearers. This will keep the building level and stable. It also reduces further strain on the panels as that can cause twisting and long-lasting harm. The building staying level also lets the panels fit squarely together, which acts as a means of reducing gaps and letting the doors close properly.
  • Timber note:
  • Quality timber creates a quality timber garden building. The typical choice of timber for garden buildings is pine but Shire buildings use high-quality spruce under strict FSC (Forestry Stewardship Council) guidance. Spruce is high in durability and finish, more so than pine, and the slow grown timber has a tighter grain and less sap. Fewer knots and warping occur. Sometimes slight splits or 'shakes' are seen in the timber but these will not hinder performance.
  • Delivery is restricted to mainland England and Wales. If you are unsure whether your postcode is excluded, please call us to confirm.
