Featuring sturdy 34mm square framing, this Shire Overlap Apex Shed comes with a complete fixing kit, instructions and roof felt. The wall panels are made from slow-grown, high-grade, FSC-certified timber while the floor and roof are manufactured from solid sheet OSB. The building is drip treated with a base layer which is ready for you to add a top coating after assembly.

You should make an allowance for access around the outside and for the roof overhang throughout the installation and subsequent treatment. Base note:
Please ensure your base is flat, level and square whether this is on bearers or a concrete or paving slab base. This ensures your building is stable and level and deters excess strain on the panels that could trigger twisting/long-term damage. The building staying level also means that the panels will fit neatly together, enabling the doors to shut correctly and eradicating gaps.
Timber note:
A good quality timber garden building begins with quality timber. The most commonly used timber for garden buildings is pine. Shire buildings are made using premium-quality spruce under strict FSC (Forestry Stewardship Council) guidance. Spruce is harder-wearing than pine and provides a higher-quality finish. The timber is slow-grown, so it delivers a tighter grain far fewer knots and warping and less sap. In some cases, 'shakes' or slight splits might appear in the timber. These are normal and will not impact the performance of your garden building.
