With plentiful eaves height thanks to the apex design, this 8ft x 10ft Overlap Apex Shed from Shire allows ample headroom and potential storage space. Without windows, it is ideal for concealing your belongings and the double doors are equipped with a hasp and staple catch so you can fit your own padlock for additional security.

Featuring sturdy 34mm square framing, this Shire Overlap Apex Shed comes with a complete fixing kit, instructions and roof felt. The wall panels are made from slow-grown, high-grade, FSC-certified timber while the floor and roof are manufactured from solid sheet OSB. The building is drip treated with a base layer which is ready for you to add a top coating after assembly.

Please note:

  • The imperial measurements are not precise so please refer to the metric sizes for accuracy. You should make an allowance for access around the outside and for the roof overhang throughout the installation and subsequent treatment. After you have ordered, you will receive a link to select your delivery day. On the morning of, you will also be sent live tracking information.
  • Base note:
  • Please ensure your base is flat, level and square whether this is on bearers or a concrete or paving slab base. This ensures your building is stable and level and deters excess strain on the panels that could trigger twisting/long-term damage. The building staying level also means that the panels will fit neatly together, enabling the doors to shut correctly and eradicating gaps.
  • Timber note:
  • A good quality timber garden building begins with quality timber. The most commonly used timber for garden buildings is pine. Shire buildings are made using premium-quality spruce under strict FSC (Forestry Stewardship Council) guidance. Spruce is harder-wearing than pine and provides a higher-quality finish. The timber is slow-grown, so it delivers a tighter grain far fewer knots and warping and less sap. In some cases, 'shakes' or slight splits might appear in the timber. These are normal and will not impact the performance of your garden building.
  • Delivery is restricted to mainland England and Wales. If you are unsure whether your postcode is excluded, please call us to confirm.
