Although painting and staining are still possible if you desire decoration. The Shire wooden store also features strong 34mm square framing and is supplied with a fixing kit to make your assembly process quick and simple.

Ensure allowances are made for the roof overhang and the access around the outside during the construction of the shed and when performing the subsequent treatment. Base note:
The base must be flat, level and square whether this is a concrete or paving slab base or on bearers. This will level and stabilise the building, preventing excess strain on the panels that could lead to twisting and long-term damage. The level building also means the panels will fit squarely together, preventing gaps and ensuring doors close correctly.
Timber note:
Using good quality timber is the start of any good quality timber garden building. Shire garden buildings constructed using high-quality spruce under strict FSC (Forestry Stewardship Council) guidance. Spruce is more durable than pine. It provides a higher-quality finish and is slow-grown. This means a tighter grain, less sap and far fewer knots and warping occurring. In some cases, slight splits or 'shakes' may be seen in the timber. These are normal and will not affect the performance of your Garden Building.
