Shire has ensured this beautiful Haddon shiplap summerhouse has incredible versatility and long-term use. Complete with half-glazed double doors at the front and two fixed windows for additional light, this Shire summerhouse will be a beautiful addition to any garden.

Good quality timber garden buildings begin with good quality timber. This Shire summerhouse has wall panels manufactured from high-grade, slow-grown FSC Certified timber. It has also been dip treated with a base coat, allowing you to add a top coat as soon as possible after assembly. Alternatively, the roof has been constructed using OSB board. As a bonus, as part of the Shire summerhouses range, this summerhouse features strong 34mm square framing. It is also provided with a fixing kit, roof felt and installation instructions for an easier fitting process.

  • The imperial measurements are rounded. Please refer to the metric sizes for accuracy. Make allowances for the roof overhang and access around the outside during construction and subsequent treatment. Following your order, you will be sent a link to choose your delivery day. On the morning of the delivery day, you will receive live tracking information.
  • Base note:
  • Before assembling your building, the base must be flat, level and square to a sufficient size, whether this is a concrete or paving slab base or on bearers. Grass, soil or gravel are not sufficient as they will move with the weight of a building. This ensures the building is level and stable, preventing excess strain on the panels that could lead to twisting and long-term damage. A level building also means the panels will fit squarely together, preventing gaps and ensuring doors close correctly.
  • Timber note:
  • Pine is the most commonly used timber for garden buildings. Shire buildings are constructed using high-quality spruce under strict FSC (Forestry Stewardship Council) guidance. Spruce is more durable than pine, providing a higher-quality finish. The timber is slow grown which means a tighter grain, less sap and far fewer knots and warping occurring. In some cases, slight splits or 'shakes' may be seen in the timber. These are normal and will not affect the garden building's performance.
  • Delivery is restricted to mainland England and Wales. If you are unsure whether your postcode is excluded, please call us to confirm.
