Description

From Shire, this 10ft x 7ft Guernsey pressure-treated shiplap apex shed provides ample storage space. From lawnmowers to garden tools and equipment, you can make sure these items are kept safe and secure. Double doors provide easy access to the Shire shed and the building is fitted with two mortise and tenon opening storm-resistant windows for ventilation and lighting.

The wall panels of this Shire shed are made from 12mm shiplap FSC-certified timber. The timber is pressure-treated, enabling a long life with low maintenance. The shed can still be painted or stained for decoration. The roof is constructed from solid board (OSB) to ease installation and the floor is tongue and groove timber. All Shire sheds feature strong 34mm square framing and come complete with a fixing kit, roof felt and installation instructions.

  • The imperial measurements are rounded. Refer to the metric sizes for accuracy. Allowances must be made for the roof overhang and the access around the outside during the construction of the shed and when subsequent treatment is performed.   • Base note:
  • The base must be flat, level and square whether this is a concrete or paving slab base or on bearers. This will level and stabilise the building, preventing excess strain on the panels which leads to twisting and long-term damage. The level building also means the panels will fit squarely together, preventing gaps and ensuring doors close correctly.
  • Timber note:
  • Using good quality timber is the start of any good quality timber garden building. Shire garden buildings are constructed using high-quality spruce under strict FSC (Forestry Stewardship Council) guidance. Spruce is more durable than pine. It enables a higher-quality finish and is slow-grown to ensure a tighter grain, less sap and far fewer knots and warping occurring. Slight splits or 'shakes' may sometimes be seen in the timber. These are normal and will not affect the performance of your Garden Building.
  • Delivery is restricted to mainland England and Wales. If you are unsure whether your postcode is excluded, please call us to confirm.
