Description

This Highways range Cast Iron Access Cover by Wrekin is a Group 4 D400 loading class manhole cover used in carriageway environments. A strong, durable cast iron material, the patented frame design has enlarged frame corners to ensure the load is dissipated. Its design also encompasses mechanical lifting points to make removal of the cover easier if needed and a three-point suspension for non-rock stability.

The cover is also indexed to ensure correct fitting and is available with various internal dimensions. To assure you of its quality and safe and robust performance, this manhole cover also complies with BS EN 124 standard, is third-party certified by BSI and complies with UK Highways Authority specification HA 104/09. The patented safety keyway prevents accidental disengagement during lifting operations and can be used with standard D400 lifting keys.
