Made to meet and surpass the extensive requirements of the drainage marketplace, this adaptor coupling from Flexseal offers a solution for a variety of pipes requiring adaptation. It can connect 260mm-285mm to 240mm-250mm pipes of varying materials such as metal, cast iron and vitrified clay.
Featuring a step-moulded elastomeric sleeve with differing diameters at each end, this adaptor coupling comes equipped with two stainless steel clamping bands that deliver an effective method of joining pipes with varying diameters, eliminating potential bush requirements.
Ideal for connecting all new and traditional pipe systems including structural walled plastic pipes, this adaptor coupling can also be used for ribbed pipe systems thanks to the integrated extra wide clamping band at one end. The clamping band fixes against two or more external ribs on the plastic ribbed pipe to ensure a high-performance seal, regardless of the coupling movement or position.
When used combined with bushes or individually, the Flexseal Standard couplings are suitable for a variety of applications in the maintenance, repair and construction of pipe systems. These uses include integrating a rocker pipe outside structures or manholes, reconnecting laterals on renovated sewers, creating post-construction connections to an existing pipeline, connecting short and cut lengths of pipe, repairing and maintaining existing pipelines and as a joint for plain-ended pipes.
