This adaptor coupling by Flexseal is used for connecting pipes that have varying outside diameters. It comes with a step-moulded elastomeric sleeve with different diameters at each end. By fitting the sleeve component with two stainless steel clamping bands, this method is effective and eradicates possible bush requirements. The couplings can also connect all traditional and new pipe systems, including structural walled plastic pipes.
Flexseal adaptor couplings are manufactured to comply with strict requirements in the drainage marketplace, including the WIS 4-41-01 standard which refers to all public sewers and sewers for adoption. They comprise three components - a one-stepped moulded EPDM rubber body with two different diameters on each side, as well as two stainless steel clamp bands which, when tightened, create a secure connection.
The adaptor coupling is suitable for unadopted drainage applications (housing sites, private roads, industrial sites, etc.). Use it as a joint for plain-ended pipes, a repair or maintenance section of existing pipelines, or to connect short and cut lengths of pipe.
