Description

This DS System vertical roof drain is manufactured from 0.8mm thick stainless steel for all types of waterproofing membrane. Compatible with standard drain pipes, like type HT and type KG, this vertical roof drain has been designed with a low body to allow for installation into shallow insulation. High mechanical resistance and resistance to both frost and to UV increase the longevity and durability of this product.

Attaching to the roof drainage via a flange, the greased roof drain pipe is easily connected to the drain pipes without losing any of the waterproofing qualities of the membrane as a seal comes with each roof drain as standard. When installing this DS System vertical roof drain it’s recommended that you use ample lubricant to avoid tearing the seal on any drain pipe. Tearing can also be avoided by using round-head or oval-head screws. The roof drain is tightened into place by stainless steel nuts which are self-locking.

When fitting into insulation you must fit 3 to 5cm below the level of hydro isolation and use a low compression adhesive foam for strength and stability of the roof drain.
