Providing an easy-to-install and cost-effective solution for upstanding parapets, combined with pitched or flat roofs, this coping stopend can be fitted as part of the Skyline aluminium coping system. Thanks to its strap-fixing method, the fixings can avoid penetrating the capping to ensure a weatherproof covering whilst enabling ventilation over the top of the wall.
Ideal for both new build and retrofit applications, this stopend is manufactured from aluminium which is 100% recyclable, non-corrodible, durable and lightweight. Additionally, aluminium has a life expectancy of up to 25 years in marine/industrial environments and 40 years in suburban/rural settings.
This stopend is simply fitted with a fixing strap profile and integral EPDM seal and typically installation can be carried out from the roof, so no external access is necessary. Due to the fixings not being visible on the surface of the coping, the clean and neat lines can be maintained. The fabricated fittings are mitred and welded and have a stunning smooth appearance on the front face.
