Providing an economical and easily installed capping to upstand parapets in conjunction with pitched or flat roofs, this Black Gloss Skyline Coping uses a strap fixing method, providing a durable and fully weatherproof covering without penetrating it. This coping also allows for ventilation over the top of the wall and will suit a wall thickness of 301mm to 360mm.
Equally suited to new and existing buildings, refurbishment and retrofit projects, this coping is ideal for various sectors, including commercial, healthcare, residential and public sectors. With fixings not visible on the surface, this coping maintains attractive and clean lines with excellent rigidity from the material thickness and fixing mechanism.
Made from durable, non-corrodible and lightweight aluminium alloy sheet (2mm or 3mm thick depending on wall thickness), this standard flat coping is quick to install with minimal maintenance requirements. In most circumstances, this coping is fixed from the roof without requiring external access, which makes it particularly suitable for renovation work. Infinitely recyclable, this coping has a life expectancy of 40 years in rural/suburban areas and up to 25 years in industrial/marine areas.
This 422mm x 3000mm coping is mitred and welded to provide a smooth finish on the front face, and it includes a BBA (British Board of Agrément) approved process for factory-applied polyester powder coatings.
