Alumasc have developed a wide range of copings that have been manufactured from aluminium to provide an aesthetic and functional alternative to more traditional coping products, and is suitable for both retrofit and new build projects.
This aluminium coping is available in pearl white, polyester powder coated in-house at Alumasc, and is 182mm. This Coping will suit a wall thickness of 91mm - 120mm
The Alumasc Skyline range of aluminium coping products consists of a range of coping products for use at roofing and gutter interfaces. The Skyline aluminium coping range has been designed for use with Alumasc’s aluminium gutter and rainwater systems, to create a complete eaves and roof drainage system that works together efficiently and precisely.
The Skyline range of aluminium copings has been designed as an economical and easily installed cap that sits on upstanding parapets, or in conjunction with flat or pitched roofs. The aluminium copings are extremely lightweight, which improves the installation time, whilst also being durable and non-corrodible, helping to maximise the lifespan and resulting in minimal maintenance. As a result, the aluminium coping has a lifespan of 40 years in rural or suburban areas, and up to 25 years in industrial or marine areas.
The copings are installed with a strapping method, which means there is no penetration required, which helps to improve weathertightness. Additionally, the strapping method also allows ventilation to occur over the top of the wall. This strap fixing provides rigidity and strength, but the fixings are not visible, improving the overall aesthetics of the product.
The aluminium range of Skyline coping is also popular amongst sustainable and environmentally friendly products, because aluminium is 100% recyclable - this means that it can be recycled and reused when it reaches the end of its lifespan.
Skyline aluminium coping products are available in a wide range of different colours, which are polyester powder coated in-house at Alumasc.
