This Seam Tape from Firestone has been created for the finishing edges of your EPDM membrane when connecting to another seaming joining EPDM sheet, flat roof etc. Manufactured from a semi cured rubber, this seam tape has an amount of flexibility but must not be applied as flashing.
QuickScrubber Handle & Pads and QuickPrime Plus should be utilised with this seam tape like all other Firestone QuickSeam products. Featuring centre markings that are used as a guide to fix this seam tape over the join, you need to coat a thin, even layer to the EPDM membrane, remove the backing from the seam tape and apply using a silicone roller to make certain that the best contact is made and air is not trapped beneath.
If stored at temperatures above 15°C, this seam tape can be kept up to 12 months, otherwise its shelf life will be diminished.
