You'll be pleased to find this Brett Martin StormCrate55 can be used in stormwater retention, attenuation and infiltration applications. Designed to be easily stacked together, they will create a below-ground stormwater holding tank or allow stormwater infiltration into the ground around them.
During heavy rainfall, the void created by the crates will be filled up with rainwater. If the crates are used for attenuation, the water will drain away slowly into the drainage system. However, if you are using them for infiltration, the water will slowly soak away into the groundwater table.
With a load-bearing strength of 562kN per m² and integrated inlets and outlets, this StromCrate55 is durable and practical. It is suitable for a wide range of applications, including landscaped areas, pedestrianised areas, public open spaces, playgrounds, parking areas, driveways and access areas.
