Featuring a D400 black ductile iron grating, this MonoDrain Universal Sump Unit from ACO is an essential component in the MonoDrain system and is equipped with a plastic silt bucket for catching and holding debris that would otherwise clog the system. Quick and easy to install, fit, and maintain, the system is an excellent all-in-one solution for your next domestic channel drainage project.

Additionally, the MonoDrain single-piece channel drain system links grates and channels into one safe, secure and effective whole. When you combine the grate and base into a single unit, you massively reduce the risk of the gratings dislodging under traffic weight or being stolen for structural integrity and long-lasting performance. Its base features external faces to firmly bed into the concrete below.

Made using ACO's proprietary, tried and tested Vienite® material, this sump unit has superb chemical resistance, build quality and stability, showcasing a long service life. In addition, the MonoDrain system is certified to BS EN 1433:2002 and Class D400 for weight load and is fitted with a sturdy 8mm Heelguard grate to minimise debris entry and danger to pedestrians. It is capable of withstanding traffic and stationary weight in areas like commercial developments, town centres, pedestrian areas, light-duty landscaping and car and HGV parks.

Please note:

  • The ACO MonoDrain system is not suitable for public roads, highways and motorways. For those applications, ACO RoadDrain is recommended.
