ACO has designed this MonoDrain 135mm Access Unit to work alongside the PD100D 135mm Shallow Channel Drain. This access unit comes supplied with a D400 ductile iron cover, allowing easy access for drain rods and unblockers to help maintain the drainage system.
This base and grate unit is grey, providing an alternative to galvanised or stainless steel grates and a similar aesthetic for concrete or stone installations. We recommend you install one access unit for every 5m of channel drainage. This access unit has knockout sections on both sides of the channel for 90-degree connections and a 110mm diameter knockout vertical connection.
Designed for seamless surface water drainage, the ACO MonoDrain system is a cutting-edge one-piece Vienite channel drain solution which integrates grates directly into the channels, ensuring a secure, safe and efficient installation. The unique combination of the grate and base in a single unit mitigates the risk of dislodgement under heavy traffic and deters theft, promoting long-term performance in D400 load-class areas.
Made from ACO's proprietary recycled polymer concrete Vienite, the MonoDrain system boasts durability, offering stability and a robust, rigid structure capable of withstanding traffic and stationary weight, including HGV and car parks, light-duty pedestrian and landscaping areas, town centres and commercial developments. While the base features external faces to securely bed into the concrete below, the grate is an 8mm Heelguard to minimise danger to pedestrians and debris entry.
