Description

Black in colour, this ACO MonoDrain channel is an access unit suitable for the shallow depth 128mm standard channels. Rather than the grate being locked into the base like standard MonoDrain channels, this channel is provided with a D400 ductile iron cover for effortless access.

It is advised that you install one unit every 5m, so drain rods and unblockers are free to navigate and maintain the drainage system. The access unit has knockout sections on either side of the channel to allow 90° connections and a 110mm diameter knockout vertical connection also.

A one-piece Vienite channel drain system, MonoDrain integrates grates into the channels to create a secure, safe and efficient surface water drainage system. It prevents the risk of gratings moving under heavy traffic, as well as the risk of grates being stolen. Not only is installation faster (than separate grate and base drains), but ACO MonoDrain is long-lasting in D400 load class areas.

Made from ACO's recycled polymer concrete Vienite, MonoDrain is both durable and stable, as well as capable of withstanding traffic and stationery weight in car and HGV parks, light-duty landscaping and pedestrian areas, town centres and other commercial developments. With external faces to securely bed the base into the concrete, MonoDrain grates are 8mm Heelguard to lessen debris access and danger.

Please note:

  • ACO MonoDrain is not suitable for public roads, highways and motorways.
  • Accessories including lockable rodding access points, sumps, gully units and foul air traps let you get more from this system.
