Description

This pressed steel access cover by Wrekin is a smooth, no-sharp edge cover that sits inside a steel frame. Classed as light to medium duty, this access cover is ideal for applications where the Gross Laden Vehicle Weight (GLVW) does not surpass 10 tonnes and can tolerate slow-moving pneumatic tyres of 2.5 tonnes in vehicle weight, as well as slow-moving solid tyres of up to 0.5 tonnes in vehicle weight. Examples of locations for installation include light industrial areas such as shopping centres and service areas.

For sealing, this steel cover comes with a reliable surface seal to lessen water ingress and prevent odours from escaping the manhole cover. The unique labyrinth surface pattern also helps stop water pooling, in turn shrinking the risk of slips for pedestrians.
