Perfect for light to medium duty loading (code M+), it is a practical choice for a range of applications, withstanding up to 17.5 tonnes of gross-laden vehicle weight and 4.25 tonnes of slow-moving wheel load (pneumatic tyres).

I have a clear opening of 595 x 440 with a 35 mm flange. Will this cover provide pedestrian protection? It appears to be slightly raised....is there a flat equivalent?

The WREKIN Pressed Steel Light Duty Access Cover is designed to fit clear opening dimensions of 600mm x 450mm. It seems like your clear opening is slightly smaller than this, which means the cover may not fit perfectly. However, with its maximum weight load of 17.5 tonnes, it certainly provides substantial pedestrian protection. As for the cover being slightly raised, it has a depth of 25mm.
