Designed for Group 3 class D400 applications such as carriageway environments, Wrekin's Highways ductile iron gully grate is a strong and durable solution. The grate can also be placed in areas up to 990cm2 waterway if required.
You can easily place this product against kerb edges thanks to three flanges built into the design. The product also has specially crafted captive hinges. Amongst making the grate easy to remove and access, these hinges reduce the risk of theft and make the grate more simple to maintain. In addition to the hinges are mechanical lifting points and a reversible hinge ensures you can adjust the grate to suit the traffic flow. The frame's large corners also help dissipate the load and come with a three-point suspension on the covers to stabilise it during use.
This grate is part of Wrekin's Highways range. It is fully compliant with BS EN 124:2015 standards and is manufactured to exceed the requirements of Highways England CD 534 v0.1.0 (formerly HA 104/09) specification. Third-party certification by BSI has also been applied, as well as a Kitemark to ensure you can trust in a high-performing, quality product for long-term use.
