The Highways ductile iron gully grate by Wrekin is a strong grate for use in Group 3 Class D400 applications such as carriageway environments. It can also be placed in areas up to 1250cm2 waterway. Complete with three flanges, you can easily place this product against kerb edges as needed. For removal and ease of access, the product is also hinged with specially crafted captive hinges to reduce the risk of theft and make maintaining the grate and system much simpler.
To further make handling the grate easier, it has mechanical lifting points and a reversible hinge to ensure you can configure the grate to suit the traffic flow. Its large frame corners also help dissipate the load and come with a three-point suspension on the covers to stabilise it during use.
As part of the Highways range, the grate is also fully compliant with BS EN 124:2015 standards and has been manufactured to exceed the requirements of Highways England CD 534 v0.1.0 (formerly HA 104/09) specification. It has also been third-party certified by BSI and carries a Kitemark, ensuring you can trust in a high-performing, quality product for long-term use.
