A light to medium duty option for light industrial shopping malls and service areas, this double-sealed pressed steel access cover is crafted without sharp edges, preventing damage, and is positioned inside the steel frame. It features a reliable surface seal for limited water ingress and simultaneously keeps odours at bay when they attempt to escape. The specially designed labyrinth surface pattern also restricts water pooling to boost safety and prevent slipping.
This product is for applications where Gross Laden Vehicle Weights (GLVW) do not surpass 10 tonnes. It is able to withstand slow-moving pneumatic tyres up to 2.5 tonnes in vehicle weight and slow-moving solid tyres up to 0.5 tonnes in vehicle weight.
The double-seal is accomplished with the use of the unique captive O-ring gasket, which is placed under lateral compression in a specifically crafted lipped channel, elevated by the continuous cover surface at the corners. The added neoprene gasket is vertically compressed in a channel to accomplish the second seal for an improved resistance level to gaseous and/or liquid ingress and/or egress under normal atmospheric pressure.
