If an outlet is right-angle faced, those with a square-shaped mouth and those with a circular spigot, this square leaf guard is perfect as it also fits right-angle placements despite its straight sides. Featuring two prongs, these will grip the inside of the spigot, ensuring a good fit. This is also true for the 45-degree angled face and mouth through-wall outlet design.
If your outlet has a fillet-type angle around the mouth, you can cut the side arms using a sharp blade to create a 45-degree angle to create a correct fitting. This is made easier thanks to the plastic material used in its manufacturing, as they can be easily trimmed to alter the shape or reduce the size without affecting their performance.
