Made from 16-gauge/1.60mm diameter hot-dipped galvanised wire, this Solar Panel Mesh offers the perfect solution for preventing birds of all species from accessing the underside of your panels. Plus, it is fully compatible with Solar Panel Mesh Clips (WM132), ensuring a secure fit that won't allow intruders, thanks to the locking plates.
With an easy installation process, this wire mesh can be cut to size with heavy gauge side cutters. It is supplied in convenient rolls, with a handy 250mm width that saves you both time and money compared to wider rolls.
To ensure a perfect fit, cut this wire mesh into six-foot lengths and straighten it before you get onto your roof. Once you're on the roof, use a 2" x 4" timber to bend up the bottom inch of the mesh to approximately 30°. This clever "kick-out" feature ensures a snug and secure fit against your solar panels, giving you peace of mind knowing your investment is well-protected.
