Description

The 8ft x 8ft Shire Shiplap Corner Shed makes a great addition to your garden space, making any neglected garden corner a useful and stylish feature. It provides 10ft of internal width at its maximum meaning plenty of storage for your needs. Featuring double doors and 2 opening windows giving you access to the entirety of the space within. With both doors open you can store larger items such as patio furniture, bigger garden tools and even bikes.

The wall panels of this Shire Shiplap Corner Shed are made from 12mm shiplap FSC certified timber and are supplied in a honey brown timber basecoat ready for you to apply a top coat. The roof is constructed from solid board (OSB) for ease of installation, and the floor is tongue and groove timber. All Shire sheds feature a sturdy 34mm square framing and a full fixing kit, roof felt and instructions.

  • Imperial measurements are rounded so please refer to the metric sizes for accuracy. Allowance should be made for the roof overhang and for access around the outside during construction and subsequent treatment. Following your order, you will be sent a link to choose your delivery day. On the morning of the delivery day you will also receive live tracking information.
  • Base note:
  • Please ensure that your base is flat, level and square whether this is a concrete or paving slab base or on bearers. This ensures the building is level and stable and prevents excess strain on the panels that could lead to twisting / long term damage. The building staying level also means the panels will fit squarely together, prevent gaps and ensuring doors close correctly.
  • Timber note:
  • A good quality timber garden building starts with good quality timber. The most commonly used timber for garden buildings is pine. Shire buildings are constructed using high quality spruce under strict FSC (Forestry Stewardship Council) guidance. Spruce is more durable than pine and provides a higher quality finish. The timber is slow grown which means a tighter grain, less sap and with far less knots and warping occurring. In some cases, slight splits or 'shakes' may be seen in the timber. These are normal and will not affect the performance of your Garden Building.
  • Delivery is restricted to mainland England and Wales. If you are unsure whether your postcode is excluded, please call us to confirm.

Can you confirm the thickness of the shiplap and the thickness and construction of the wooden floor please?

Answer:

Wall cladding is shiplap nominal 12mm. The floor is T & G ('matching' not shiplap) is also 12mm.
