The ROUGHNECK Short Handled Drain Spade is ideal for working in compacted areas. With its sharpened blade, it makes easy work of cutting through compacted clay or root ridden ground.
This spade is excellent for digging narrow and deep trenches in preparation for lying drains, pipe and cable channels, as well as digging holes of signs and posts.
Manufacture to last, this spade is made from heavy-duty carbon steel, which is corrosion-resistant and finished with a tumble lacquer. With treads on the blade, the risk of slipping whilst applying pressure to the blade is greatly reduced. The power ring socket and steel-reinforced plug provide you with a stronger blade to handle connection. The tubular fibreglass, soft-grip D-shape handle improves comfort with every use.
