A compound of rubber and polypropylene, this TPC Roofdrain Outlet is a cost-effective way to waterproof and protect drainage holes and outlets on roofs and balconies when paired with bituminous waterproofing membranes. Its tough material is not only durable but flexible, too. It is also UV-stable and resistant to deterioration by normal atmospheric elements and ground salts.
When exposed to different conditions, this material can withstand a wide temperature range. Whether it's extremely low temperatures to high 120 degrees Celsius, the TPE can hold out. The TPE is also versatile to suit BS and APP bituminous membranes, including various liquid-applied options like built-up felt, mastic asphalt, hot melt, and Fibreglass. They are also tailored for downpipes and outlets on concrete decks if needed.
For the maximum effect, avoid direct contact between the connector and the concrete. Instead, sandwich the connector between two layers of waterproofing.
