Description

This Plasson Pipe Liner has a 50mm diameter and is for use with a 50 × 4.6 PE SDR 11 Pipe. For cold water systems, it helps create safe and reliable connections alongside the rest of the PN 16-rated (with some exceptions) range.

The Series 7 Mechanical Compression Fittings and Valves are a great solution to common problems across municipal and rural sectors, industry, agriculture, mining and communication lines. Compression fittings and valves are ideal for connecting PE to PE pipes, and adaptors make connections between various pipes, including copper, steel, PVC, PP and PB.

Captive O-ring seals ensure long-lasting protection against leakage, and no nut tightening is needed for a complete seal. Where relevant, threads have been designed for pressure-tight joints to ISO 7/1 and have a designated cylindrical "Rp" internal thread and tapered "R" external thread.

Please note:

  • As standard, polyacetal split rings and NBR O-rings are available and are suitable for water. CPVC split rings and EPDM or FPM O-rings and seals are available. For aggressive chemical applications, it is recommended the end user tests suitability.
  • Maximum operating temperature for fittings and valves is the same polyethylene pipe. This product is not intended for use in hot water applications but withstands sub-zero temperatures.
  • PTFE tape is advised in threaded connections.
