The effective snap trap mechanism and rugged materials work together for a product that is both easy and effective, with an added tag that secures traps when required. Thanks to the durable plastic base plate and treadle, and powerful steel spring and breakback bar, this trap ensures a quick and trustworthy kill each time.

This PestFix Rat Snap Trap can fit inside several bait stations by PestFix, including ST052 PestFix Bullet, ST053 PestFix Vanguard, ST060 PestFix Tunnel, ST035 Quicklock Ultra, ST036 Quicklock Durabait, ST030 Ultravbait VR, and ST027 and ST028 EVO Protecta Landscape.

Use

  • Start by baiting the trip pad using the specially formulated Big Cheese Trap Bait Syringe PB017, Brazil nuts kept in place using peanut butter, or a food source from your property rodents are familiar with. Pull back the spring-loaded bar, ensuring you keep clear of the break bar, and push it into the one-way catch to lock it still. You can then position the trap carefully along skirtings or spots with evidence of activity. When dis-arming, press and hold down the spring-loaded bar, push the trigger plate to open the bar catch, then gradually release the bar back until resting.

Please note:

  • Keep away from children, pets and non-target species at all times.
  • Traps can be re-used but should be checked at least every 24 hours.
  • For optimum results, ensure the bait remains fresh and palatable (rats are fussy) and keep other sources of food on the property sealed in rodent-proof containers.
