Designed to complement Alliance Land Drain Pipes, this 50mm Filter Sock Geotextile is made from a specially knit fabric, which offers a unique solution by allowing ultra-fine soil particles to effortlessly flow through, joining the perforated pipe. As water flows, these fine particles are efficiently carried away, ensuring optimal drainage performance.
What's more, this Filter Sock Geotextile also plays a crucial role in retaining larger soil particles. These particles, unable to pass through the fabric, create a bridging effect on its outer surface. This not only provides additional structural support but also enhances the permeability of the surrounding native backfill materials, mimicking the benefits of granular backfill. This geotextile is especially well-suited for sand and silty soil conditions.
