Requiring no application equipment or mixing, this ready-to-use permethrin smoke generator is ideal for use as a space treatment for virtually anywhere including domestic properties, business premises and storage areas. The smoke generated is non-tainting which means that it will not leave any residual odours or colour.
This mini smoke generator is a perfect option if you need to treat inaccessible areas such as open room spaces, inside machinery, nooks and crannies and loft voids. Each smoke bomb contains 13.25% Permethrin. It has a maximum application rate of 120m² for flying insects, 30m² for crawling insects and 7.5m² for cockroaches.
Applying this Insecto generator is a relatively straightforward process. Simply assess how many fumers you will require to properly cover the area to be treated. Heavy infestations may need more than one application. Seal off the area as effectively as possible by shutting windows and doors, blocking fireplaces and excluding draughts. Remove all live organisms from the area such as pets, (including fish), people and plants. Tear off the tag from beneath the cap and remove the cap, placing each generator on a fireproof base, for example, tin foil.
When more than one generator is necessary, place them at equal intervals around the area and prepare all the fumers, ready to light, before lighting the first. Ignite the generator by using a match and light each in sequence starting with the furthest from the exit. Leave the area for at least two to three hours but longer if possible. After treatment is finished, open all the doors and windows to ventilate the room thoroughly. In circumstances of high infestations, it is advised to use this generator in conjunction with a residual insecticide.
