The perfect addition to the Harmer SML dry-jointed pipework system, this Cast Iron Underground Drain Pipe Branch comes in numerous angle options to suit your installation needs. Easy to install and made from durable cast iron for recyclability after use, this branch provides resistance to accidental external damage and vandalism for a long-lasting solution.
The complete soil and waste pipework system boasts secure connections through twin screw couplings crafted from ductile and stainless steel, alongside socketless fixing between pipes and fittings, for effortless assembly free of specialised installation equipment. With pipe lengths of 3m and 50mm to 400mm diameters, the system facilitates installations from pipework connections to stack to underground sewer connections, as well as rainwater installations in conjunction with Harmer Roof Outlets.
While couplings are constructed from stainless steel and ductile cast iron, the pipes and fittings are fashioned from grey iron to DIN 1691 (exceeding BS 1452 Grade 150 ISO 185 Grade 15). The fittings are further enhanced with epoxy coatings (minimum thickness of 60 µm) on the inside and the outside, minimising maintenance once installed. As for the pipes, interiors are also lined with epoxy coatings (minimum 120 µm thickness), while exteriors receive a coat of primer (minimum thickness of 40 µm).
Incorporating leading-edge cast iron technology, Harmer SML boasts a range of certifications, including BBA and Kitemark certification, adherence to CE Mark standards, and compliance with BS EN 877 standards. With high tensile strength, the system is not only exceptionally durable but also non-combustible, negating the requirement for fire protection collars.
