Featuring a plain drain cap with a nickel bronze clamp, this Harmer horizontal shower drain is lightweight yet durable and strong thanks to its LM6 aluminium alloy manufacture and polyester powder coating for enhanced protection.
The drain cap is easy to detach, offering access to the removable 50mm foul air trap beneath, or it can also be replaced or cleaned. Compatible with 56mm HDPE, PVC or cast iron pipes, the shower drain body has an integral fall in the sump to eliminate silt collection. Providing a flow rate of up to 0.8 litres per second, this shower drain can withstand up to 300kg of vertical loading. It is ideal for timber and concrete floor applications and is perfectly suited for sheet flooring.
Specifically created to meet the specifications of British and European standard BS EN 1253 for flow performance, loading and design, this Harmer shower drain provides efficient yet attractive drainage. Constructed from 100% recycled aluminium, it is recyclable again at the end of its life cycle. The LM6 aluminium alloy material exhibits high resistance to corrosion due to creating the drain bodies for general atmospheric environments and marine conditions.
