Constructed by the vertical cast method which delivers uniformity of thickness and shape, this rectangular downpipe front offset is manufactured from cast iron which is a sustainable material. After operating for the drainage needs of your building for its lifetime, it can be completely recycled, instead of 'downcycled'.
From Hargreaves Foundry's Premier range of cast iron drainage, this front offset is highly resilient against damage caused by accident or vandalism. The cast iron gutters can tolerate the weight of heavy, snow, storms and ladders. When correctly installed as part of the Premier System, this front offset can last for more than 100 years with minimal maintenance needs of intermittent painting roughly every ten years.
Due to the sound-dampening properties of cast iron, this front offset has low noise levels and is very quiet in operation. It won't rattle in high winds and has very little expansion and contraction in extreme temperatures, so the gutters won't loudly creak or click.
