Used to join two sections of Cast Iron OG gutters in a range of sizes, this gutter union can be fixed to your fascia board to support the joint. Made from strong, robust and reliable cast iron, this gutter union has been tried and tested, enduring many difficulties such as on-site handling, vandalism and mechanical de-blocking.
Made from infinitely recyclable cast iron, this gutter union is fully sustainable, can survive the long life of a building and unlike plastic, will not end up in a landfill. Ideal for unique, new and bespoke designs as well as refurbishment, conservation, restoration and heritage work on commercial, industrial, public or domestic buildings, this gutter union requires minimal maintenance once installed. With recommended annual inspections, remedial action is not normally necessary. This gutter union is flame resistant and non-combustible and does not require extra lagging or fire collars etc. With good sound dampening properties, this gutter union does not rattle in the winds and resists expansion and contraction in extreme temperatures.
Available in your choice of primed dark grey or painted black, this gutter union has been externally and internally painted. The painted black gutter union ensures a good paint finish which is vital to the longevity and performance of your gutters and protects the underlying surface by creating a barrier between the Cast Iron and corroding elements. The primed gutter union is coated in a dark grey primer, providing a surface for subsequent layers of paint to readily adhere to. Creating a barrier to corrosion as temporary protection, this gutter union can be overcoated with Epoxy, Acrylic or Polyurethane paint.
