Castellated with decorative trimming, this hopper head helps to funnel rainwater into the downpipes and drains below. Made from robust, reliable and strong cast iron, this hopper head has been tried and tested to endure many difficulties such as mechanical de-blocking, vandalism and on-site handling and can withstand the long life of a building.
Manufactured from infinitely recyclable cast iron, this hopper head is fully sustainable and will not end up in a landfill like plastic. Flame resistant and non-combustible, this hopper head does not require fire collars or extra lagging etc. and has excellent sound-dampening properties. This hopper head is perfect for refurbishment, restoration, heritage and conservation work as well as bespoke, unique and new designs on commercial, domestic, industrial and public buildings. Once installed, this hopper head is recommended to have annual inspections, but remedial action is not usually needed with minimal maintenance requirements. This hopper head can tolerate weights such as heavy snow or ladders.
Available in a range of downpipe diameters to fit your downpipes, this hopper head has been painted black in factory conditions by paint specialists. Providing a good paint finish is vital to the longevity and performance of your hopper head and protects the underlying substrate and creates a barrier between the Cast Iron and corroding elements.
