Compatible with the H16 Moulded Cast Iron rainwater gutters, this stopend is available in a range of sizes to fit your gutters and closes off the guttering at the end of a gutter run. Made from strong, reliable, robust and infinitely recyclable cast iron, this external stopend can withstand the long life of a building.
This tried and tested stopend can tolerate many difficulties such as on-site handling, vandalism and mechanical de-blocking and is fully sustainable, unlike plastic which will end up in a landfill. This external stopend is ideal for a variety of applications including unique, bespoke and new designs as well as restoration, conservation, refurbishment and heritage work on public, domestic, industrial or commercial buildings. With non-combustible and flame-resistant properties as well as being a good noise dampener, this stopend does not require fire collars or extra lagging etc., resists expansion and contraction in extreme temperatures and does not rattle in high winds.
Painted black internally and externally, this external stop end provides the vital paint finish for improved longevity and performance, protecting the underlying surface by creating a barrier between the Cast Iron and corroding elements. Once installed, this stopend requires minimal maintenance with recommended annual inspections while remedial action is not normally necessary.
